DC Smithsonian day 2

 Ok, today's quest was laundry, then was ment to head to the navel museum, but was closed on Sunday... Anyways, git the museum of natural history, omg, crazy how much $$ and detail they have gone into for these displays


Anyway here's a few pictures 

















































Next is the national archives, guessing you have to be an American to truly get into this one, still is worth a visit

First night in the apple

 Frok it's cold, managed to get to the hotel, from JFK airport, wasn't straight forward.. asked a local... He was happy to help, trains are old, and really need a good clean... Stations are just as bad... Made it to the hotel.. kinda 1/2 frozen... Think it was 1 degree, hotel location is bang in the middle of everything... Had some pizza for dinner... Was a famous place, must have had 500 people plus queued was crazy.. "Joe's pizza". Anyway trying to sleep.... But I think jetlag has kicked in... Managed to get I think 3 hours sleep on the flight (15.5 hours from Auckland to New York) Anyways attempting to sleep...

Another day in NY

Starting to warm up, 6 degrees with rain... Famous food spots have crazy queues,  even the ramen shop had a queue, probably ok, if I wasn't cold and wet!!! World trade centre site The bull... Huge queue to touch the balls He once killed 3 men in a bar with a pencil, a  forking pencil, continental hotel New York ( John Wick) 2025 early????
